Visual Arts Grade 3. Objective 2 
Use a broad range of art materials in supporting the visual arts needs at school.
  • I will use a Pinterest board for my classroom to show them art activities or cool organization skills in order to see what visual things we can have in our classroom. 
  • I want my students to learn how to see what a difference it makes to have choices for art. That they can use these crafts as a way to learn about principles of Art. 
  • Students need to know how to use art materials to express themselves and seeing this Pinterest board will get their brains started on how they can be create in their own lives or in the classroom.

Science 4th grade. Standard 5. Objective 2
Describe the common plants and animals found in Utah environments and how these organisms have adapted to the environment in which they live.
  • I want to be able to show students through a video and interactive form like Animoto the interesting and useful reasons of the plant and animal life in Utah today. I will use lots of creative eye catching pictures. 
  • The importance of protecting plant and animal life here in Utah in order to preserve its beautiful landscapes and wildlife.
  • Students need to know how, why, and where they can best put forth their knowledge and effort into making Utah protected and safe. This will make them more aware of the benefits of the plant and animal life around them and how they can treat everything around them with kindness.

Visual Arts Grade 3.Standard 2. Objective 1.
The student will analyze, reflect on, and apply the structures of art.
  • I will be making a Glogster to illustrate how artist use certain methods in order to make their work stand out or create more quality. I will be putting up example of different techniques and describing famous artist who use those tools efficiently. 
  • I want children to understand how they use techniques like repetition, contrast, movement etc… to make their paintings better. Then describing certain artists that mastered that particular skill. 
  • It’s important for children to understand how learning simple basic skills like repeating something gives it more depth or meaning. This is a perfect way to introduce them to the basic elements of art. And they can learn this by seeing pictures from the best of the best.

Health Education (7-8) Standard 4 Students will demonstrate the ability to apply prevention and intervention knowledge, skills, and processes to promote safety in the home, school, and community.
  • Make a brochure that outlines bullying in it’s many forms, how you can stop it, and gives parents and children an easy guide on how to deal with bullying. Mainly covering objective 3. 
  • I want students to know how to recognize violence at school, community, or home. Then give them a resources if they are need assistance in this area. Hopefully this will inform them better so they can stop bullying before it starts. 
  • It’s important for students to know the signs of bullying so they don’t get hurt physically or emotionally. Parents and children need to be more involved in the many signs of bullying so they can help stop it.

Science Grade 4. Standard 5. Objective 1. Students will understand the physical characteristics of Utah's wetlands, forests, and deserts and identify common organisms for each environment.
  • I will be using Thinglink to make a visual representation of all of Utah’s environments. I like how many pictures I can put on my diagram of the many different environments of Utah so that’s why I wanted to use something that would allow such a visual representation. 
  •  The diagram will explain what wetlands, forests and deserts are with pictures of the species that live there. It will show in a very visual way the variety of nature in Utah.
  • Students need to understand why certain organisms live where and why they best survive there. Also to show the different beautiful landscapes that exist in Utah.

Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom. (3, 4)

Visual Arts. 5 Grade. Standard 2
The student will analyze, reflect on, and apply the structures of art.
  • I will be making a Google presentation on what elements of art are (line, color, spacing etc.) and identifying realism, abstract, distorted etc types of artwork. I will be using lots of pictures and famous works of art to display certain elements and principles of art. 
  • I want students to understand why certain elements and principles in art are important so they can understand how artists put things together the way they do. This will help students to identify qualities in art and improve their own artistic abilities.  
  • Students need to know what makes up certain types of art or just the basics of line, form, contrast so they can begin creating their own art projects. They need to know what elements and principles go into specific types of art so they can build upon that foundation. Also having lots of visual aids and seeing examples from the best make it much more enjoyable even if you don’t like art.
